It all started when I was five, and my mom showed me how to make an origami basket. MAGICAL! 
My work is a mix of colour, craftsmanship, and a fair bit of engineering. You can definitely see my background in graphic design — it's all there in the typography, the icons, the geometric shapes. What really fascinates me, though, is the challenge: not just making something look beautiful, but figuring out how it can also be structurally clever and sustainable. I love that balance!
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I hold degrees in Social Communication (ESPM 1994) and Fine Arts (FAAP 2003). Having lived through the shift from analogue to digital, I’ve got a well-rounded view on the creative process — sketchpad to software, I’ve done it all!​​​​​​​
Living in London since 2014, I've had the opportunity to assist many paper artist colleagues, and build an extensive network of producers and suppliers.
When I’m not working, I’m dancing, knitting or squeezing pets (I’m sure they love it!).
